Are the girls mean in middle skwl?

I'm starting 7th grade and the girls were pretty mean in elementary school....i dont wanna repeat my whole year :( so if they are what are some ways to cope .... and what about locker rooms. i was pretty nice to ppl in school bcuz i thot the girls were jus... rlllyyyyyyy terrible over petty thing so...plz answer.
