Where can I get the contraception pill from?

I'm currently on the pill, I'm registered at the doctors at uni and am now at home for the summer. I'm coming to the end of my packet - where can I get a repeat prescription? Do I need to book an emergency appointment at my local doctors as I can't re-register?
