Do you put your heart on your sleeve when you're into someone?

yes i allow myself to be vulnerable, its not something i can help. i have a tendance to trust everyone unless they prove themselves to be untrustworthy. and even then i have tendance to believe the best in people. everyone makes mistakes, nobody is perfect. i sometimes end up letting it go so far as to let them walk all over me. that's just with people i am acquainted with; why would i do anything less for someone i like especially if i am in love with them. i also would hate to miss out on meeting a great person, especially my soul mate, just because i am afraid they may or may not be untrustworthy or end up hurting me in some way, or that i will make a fool of myself. no pain, no gain. right?
